Job Purpose

The purpose of this job is to assemble Jarraff products until they are completed to acceptance of Quality Assurance testing and routing operations by performing the following duties,

Essential Functions

1. Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling.

2. Assist with assembly of Jarraff Industries’ equipment

3. Parts storage and handling

4. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager.

5. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

6. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday – Thursday 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Hours are flexible.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. High school diploma/GED, 2-year technical degree with hydraulic system knowledge is preferred

2. 2+ years manufacturing experience: background in diesel mechanics is a plus

3. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, work measurement, quality assurance, shop routings, blueprints, and math.

Job Purpose

Responsible for developing and maintaining quality assurance policies, procedures and metrics and ensuring all Jarraff products meet established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.

Essential Functions

1. Responsible for developing and maintaining quality assurance policies, procedures and metrics.2. Communicates data supporting production, engineering and purchasing regarding any issues related to defects in materials or workmanship.

3. Design, implement and maintain effective process controls and inspections to improve and assure quality of component manufacturing.

4. Actively manages and participates in end of line testing of product.

5. Gather and analyze internal and external data relevant to quality of manufactured product. Make recommendations on specific opportunities or areas to    improve overall quality based on findings.

6. Facilitate continuous improvement activities addressing reoccurring quality issues using root cause analysis techniques.

7. Manages the process for non-conforming materials.

8. Participates in engineering design review meetings to ensure all specifications meet customer expectations.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed.

Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in an industry-related field from an accredited institution

2. Five (5) or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment

3. Five (5) or more years of experience in a quality function

Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to compile and maintain materials and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas while keeping work stations fully stocked with material, thus controlling the continuous flow of productivity by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions

1. Stock Assembly lines/ Associates with required parts daily

2. Build small service assemblies as needed

3. Assist with on campus material handling and movement of parts

4. Assist with Shipping/Handling as needed

5. Assist with paint prep/wash as needed

6. Be trained in loading sold units onto trucks

7. Assist Maintenance when needed

8. Reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority

9. Confers with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material status.

1. This job operates in a professional Manufacturing/office environment. This role may routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

2. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a vigorous role; however, some filing maybe required. This would require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bending, Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing, operate mechanical equipment, including forklifts, Pallet Jacks and hand carts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to weld and fabricate Linebacker brush-cutting equipment and to weld and fabricate Jarraff All-Terrain Tree-Trimmers. Welders use, welders, cutters,  shapers and measuring tools.

Essential Functions

  1. Weld parts/machinery for both Linebacker brush-cutting equipment and Jarraff All-Terrain Tree-Trimmers.
  2. Fabricate both Linebacker brush-cutting equipment and Jarraff All-Terrain Tree-Trimmers.
  3. Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures.
  4. Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
  5. Setting up components for welding according to specifications.
  6. Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
  7. Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces.
  8. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
  9. Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
  10. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
  11. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
