Job Purpose

The purpose of this job is to assemble Jarraff products until they are completed to acceptance of Quality Assurance testing and routing operations by performing the following duties,

Essential Functions

1. Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling.

2. Assist with assembly of Jarraff Industries’ equipment

3. Parts storage and handling

4. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager.

5. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

6. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday – Thursday 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Hours are flexible.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. High school diploma/GED, 2-year technical degree with hydraulic system knowledge is preferred

2. 2+ years manufacturing experience: background in diesel mechanics is a plus

3. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, work measurement, quality assurance, shop routings, blueprints, and math.

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for fulfilling orders. The shipping specialist is responsible for identifying and fulfilling the proper product and quantity in purchases, and securely packaging and labeling the shipment properly.

Essential Functions

  1. Verifies package identifying information through counts, weights, and/or other measures.
  2. Execute proper procedures to pack and prepare shipments.
  3. Maintain stock for shipping supplies.
  4. Affixes Shipping labels/shipping ID information on prepared packages for shipment.
  5. Provide quality control review for all products within the retail stock area.
  6. Understand shipping costs and eliminate unnecessary expenses related to errors and inefficiencies in the shipping process.
  7. Coordinate completion of preparing shipments with carrier pickup times.
  8. Utilizing had pallet jack, forklifts and shipping carts, properly positions items for shipment after preparation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to vibrations and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be load.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Prefer 1+ years directly related shipping operations experience (i.e. FedEx/UPS), pulling and packaging parts.
  3. Excellent customer service and organizational skills with strong attention to details, Analytical problem solving,Understand and follow protocol for the proper lines of communication, Clear understanding of company mission and values and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Works in the shop environment and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Purpose

Responsible for developing and maintaining quality assurance policies, procedures and metrics and ensuring all Jarraff products meet established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.

Essential Functions

1. Responsible for developing and maintaining quality assurance policies, procedures and metrics.2. Communicates data supporting production, engineering and purchasing regarding any issues related to defects in materials or workmanship.

3. Design, implement and maintain effective process controls and inspections to improve and assure quality of component manufacturing.

4. Actively manages and participates in end of line testing of product.

5. Gather and analyze internal and external data relevant to quality of manufactured product. Make recommendations on specific opportunities or areas to    improve overall quality based on findings.

6. Facilitate continuous improvement activities addressing reoccurring quality issues using root cause analysis techniques.

7. Manages the process for non-conforming materials.

8. Participates in engineering design review meetings to ensure all specifications meet customer expectations.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed.

Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in an industry-related field from an accredited institution

2. Five (5) or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment

3. Five (5) or more years of experience in a quality function

Job Requirements:

1. Extensive knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of quality assurance

2. Excellent analytical and data mining skills

3. Ability to clearly communicate on all levels

4. Work in office and shop environment as required
